Cake Recipe | Orange Grapefruit Cake

I made a grapefruit and orange whipped cream cake by adding grapefruit and oranges together. Grapefruit and orange meat are sliced into large slices, feeling the rich juice very much. I put the orange peel on the plate and baked it, and it tasted even better with the smell of fresh oranges. On top, I made a grapefruit and orange glaze and poured it in half. Instead of sugar syrup, I put plain yogurt mixed with orange peel and honey on the paper, it tastes good and moist. The colors are really pretty, so I think it’s a fun cake to look at.

155 g eggs

90g sugar

10g honey

2g vanilla extract

30g unsalted butter

45g milk

100g soft flour

♥ Recipe

1. Put an egg in a pot of hot water, add sugar, honey and vanilla and stir until it reaches 40 degrees.

2. Use an electric mixer to beat until thick ivory-colored foam is formed, then sift in the soft flour and mix well.

3. In a bowl, mix melted butter and unsalted milk (temperature: 50-60 degrees, add some flour, mix well, add main flour, mix well, then add orange peel and mix. light.

4. Pour the dough into a 15cm round mold greased with butter and parchment paper, fold the air bubbles, place in a 170 degree oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20 minutes for 35 minutes and then let cool.

5. Cut off the top of the cooled sheet and cut it into 3 pieces for preparation.

6. Add honey and orange peel to plain yogurt and mix well.

7. Place a plate on a rotating cutting board, apply 6, apply whipped cream, remove peel, place sliced grapefruit and oranges, apply cream.

8. Lift up the paper plate and repeat the above procedure again.

9. Put the last sheet of paper on top, spread orange yogurt on top, cover with fresh cream and put it in the refrigerator.

10. Melt the white chocolate and unsalted butter in a water bath, then add the warm orange juice and mix well.

11. Add gelatin, mix well, add food coloring to create color. Grapefruit glaze is made in a similar way.

12. Spread 2 types of yeast on the edge of the cake, decorate the top with fresh cream, grapefruit and sliced orange.
