NOBODY will believe this bread was made without oven! Super soft and delicious. You don’t need an oven to make this super delicious and easy cake!
1 ripe banana
25g white sugar
3g active dry yeast
280g All-purpose or bread flour
15ml melted unsalted butter
Olive oil or butter
1. 1 ripe banana, the banana is about 120g without peel. Mash the banana with a fork, 2 eggs. Save 1 yolk for later, mix well, 25g white sugar, 3g active dry yeast. Mix and wait for 5 minutes.
2. 280g All-purpose or bread flour, add the flour in 3 batches, 3g salt. Mix well, 15ml melted unsalted butter. Knead the dough. Add some olive oil to a bowl. Mix the olive oil with the dough. Cover and rise until double size.
3. Prepare a rice cooker, olive oil or butter, brush in the pan. Deflate the air bubbles. Fold the dough into a ball shape, place in the rice cooker. Press on the dough. Close the lid and rise until double size.
4. Brush egg yolk, select the cake option, steam for 50 minutes. After 50 minutes, place on a rack to cool. The cake is so soft and bouncy! Let’s cut open the cake to see the inside!
