Make Genoise Soft And Spongy | Sponge Cake Recipe

I made a sponge cake! It cuts well, so I thought it would be good to use it as a basic cake plate. After removing the plate from the oven, separate it from the mold and let it cool. Once cooled, cut into desired size and serve. I’m making cakes almost this way these days.



4 egg yolks

45ml milk

40g melted butter

4 egg whites

100g sugar

110g soft flour

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1. Put the egg yolks in a bowl, beat them, then add the melted butter and milk and mix well.

2. Put the egg whites in another bowl and beat until large bubbles form, divide the sugar into 3 parts and beat to make the meringue.

3. Sift flour and mix well, then add egg yolk mixture and mix well.

4. Pour the dough into the mold, beat the bottom 2-3 times to remove air bubbles, put in the preheated oven 180 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
