Yogurt Cake | Best Yogurt Dessert Recipe | How to make a Creamy Yogurt Cake

I put creamy yogurt between the crumbles. There are two textures and two tastes. If you eat it with coffee, you can have it as a really delicious dessert. After cooling, before and after putting it in the refrigerator. The texture and taste are slightly different, so try both.

2Egg yolks

70g (7tbsp) Sugar

1 pinch of salt

3g (1tsp) Baking powder

80g Melted unsalted butter

Half lemon zest (can be replaced with vanilla essence)

200g Soft flour (can be replaced with plain flour)

2 Egg whites

70g (7tbsp) Sugar

30g (3tsp) Soft flour (can be use plain flour, cornstarch)

400g Sugar-free plain yogurt(can be use greek yogurt)

▶Recipe

1. 2 Eggs, separate the white and yolk + 70g Sugar + 1pinch of salt + 3g (1tsp) Baking powder. Mix well.

2. Lemon, grind the lemon peel and add it (removes the smell of eggs).

3. 80g Melted unsalted butter, mix well. 200g Soft flour, mix well. If it became a lump.

4. Make the dough into a loaf and then, make it elongated, divide it in half. After sealing, one in the freezer and the other in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

5. 2 Egg whites, when it starts to bubble white +70g Sugar. It makes meringues soft, not hard.30g + Soft flour 30g (can be use plain flour, cornstarch). Stir lightly at low speed. 400g Sugar-free plain yogurt (can be use greek yogurt). Stir lightly again at low speed.

6. 30minutes later, take out the dough from the refrigerator, 20cm(7.8inch) Square fan. Spread thinly(You can spread it out using a flat bowl) Flatten and then, pour in the yogurt batter.

7. Take out the rest of the dough from the freezer, grind it on a grater and cover the top.

8. Move to 180°C (356°F) preheated oven. After baking for 10 minutes at 180°C (356°F), and bake for 40 minutes at 140℃ (284℉) (may vary depending on oven specifications). Bake until the cake is doubled. After the cake has cooled down enough, cut it.
